As I've contended from the beginning, GW is a farce, and the likes of Gore want to propagate the issue just to remain in the spotlight. Time will reveal that Gore and his ilk are liars - GW is a myth.
Decade has had fewest 90-degree days since 1930
By Tom Skilling
August 13, 2008
August is the wettest and often the muggiest month of the year. Yet, summer heat continues in short supply, continuing a trend that has dominated much of the 21st Century's opening decade. There have been only 162 days 90 degrees or warmer at Midway Airport over the period from 2000 to 2008. That's by far the fewest 90-degree temperatures in the opening nine years of any decade on record here since 1930.
This summer's highest reading to date has been just 91 degrees. That's unusual. Since 1928, only one year"?2000"?has failed to record a higher warm-season temperature by Aug. 13.

NEW YORK - Flooded subways. Bridges deteriorating in the hot sun. Rising seas nipping at the edges of Manhattan. Those scenarios are up for review by a panel of scientists, government officials and private sector representatives studying how the city's infrastructure will hold up to climate change.
The Climate Change Adaptation Task Force met Tuesday for the first time as part of Mayor Michael Bloomberg's plan to address global warming in New York City, which already includes orders to switch the city's taxi fleet to hybrids by 2012 and to retrofit city buildings to meet greener standards.

Looks like some of the NY crowd is worried. Thanks for helping pay for the NY studies. And this might be the coolest summer I can recall.
thats because bloomberg and gore are boys and hes been drinking the kool-aide
the bridges arent deteriorating because of sun......more like they are all over 100 years old and havent been touched since the day they cut the ribbon

There is this thing called erosion been going on for billions of years but I am sure is will get pinned on climate change/global warming/whatever
If there isn't global warming in China, there isn't global warming anywhere.

So, here we are. In the Arctic. Day 23. Good times!
Producer Paul Manson and I, along with cameraman Callan Griffiths and soundman Ben Adam, were sent here on assignment to report on climate change and the Arctic for an upcoming broadcast. The primary news peg -- and one reason for our visit -- is that for only the second time in recorded history the Northwest Passage is ice free, effectively clearing this shortcut between Europe and Asia.
Our intention was to stay on board for 10 days, shooting video and interviews. Mother Nature, apparently, had other plans. Inclement weather, along with an emergency search and rescue mission, has spoiled all five of our attempts to leave the ship. Getting stuck in the Arctic is not uncommon; getting stuck five times is like punishment.

Global warming is a myth. Meteorological records really only cover a little over 100 years, yet the same scientists say the world is millions of years old. Dumb down, America, dumb down. Gore is our appointed savior. He invented the internet, so he'll save us from global warming!
Gotta admit , that is an interesting story. Second time in recorded history that the NW passage is ice free.
